Dan and his team run a lively, friendly pub with great food. They have fresh specials on the menu every day and plenty of local cask ales to choose from, along with a house cider and a wide variety of bottled beers and wine. It is always wise to book ahead, and if you wish you can choose to dine in the tudor hall, with it's double-height ceiling and minstrels gallery. The same owners and team also run The Papermill
