Vamos A Texcoco is an authentic Mexican Barbacoa restaurant in a tiny strip mall. Don't let the looks or location fool you. This place is one of my favorites for lunch or dinner. Their lamb broth is absolutely wonderful and so are the barbacoa rolled tacos. They are even featured in a Sunset book called 'Eating Up the West Coast'.

This is a secret hole in the wall that only locals know about. It is a family-run Mexican restaurant specializing in lamb barbacoa -- in tacos and other dishes. There is usually a line out the door. I try not to go too often anymore because I gained 10lbs in the first month after we moved here frequenting it so.
