The roundtrip distance to the waterfall is 2.6 miles and hike is considered moderate in difficulty. It takes about 2 hours to hike to the waterfall and back. It’s one of the most popular destinations in the park and parking at the trailhead is limited. The area is especially busy on weekends year-around and all week during summer.

We've made this 2.6-mile hike with our 6 and 4 years old (with only minor complaining ;) ) But this is one of the best waterfalls in the park and only a short 10 minutes drive from the Chalet.

This waterfall is really beautiful! There are two parts to it. The trail that takes you to the waterfall brings you in between the upper and lower falls. You can go off trail to get to the lower falls, but I didn't explore a route and I don't really recommend that anyway. The one and three tenth mile hike to the falls is a gradual incline but I rate it as easy. It's well worth the short walk.

A 3 mile hike up to some beautiful water falls. The trail is paved, but narrow and steep at points.
