The pier in Ensenada is a great place to visit! It's a beautiful, scenic drive, one hour south. You can take a harbor boat tour for around $3-$7 per person (depending on the time of year). Souvenir shopping, vendors, snacks, restaurants, a fish market with fresh fish and seafood, and more. Take photos by the "ENSENADA" sign. There's at least 2 paid parking lots just a few minutes walk to the pier.
