Diamond Plaza is a mall tailored to the Indian community of Nairobi. On the ground floor, there are a series of shops and stalls, and a central food court is open-air with vendors selling Indian food. The shops stock everything from saris to spices, so it’s a great place to come and get a sense of the Indian street culture in the capital. The best way to experience Diamond Plaza is to park up in the food court on the bench seats and soak up the atmosphere. There are many different food stalls here, and as you sit down a waiter from each place will bring you a menu. They all sell the same dishes so you can’t go wrong.

African Yoga Project: donation-based community yoga classes Sat 10 - 12pm + Lunch (beans, chapati, rice). Bring a towel and a water bottle! They have yoga mats but some people bring their own too. They also do fee-based classes, with schedules changing.

Diamond Plaza A mall, which caters to the Indian community in Nairobi mostly, but which I like because it has a little more character than the others. Diamond Plaza has a supermarket, Chandarana, where you can buy all of your food items, as well as a good green grocers for fruit and vegetables in the parking lot.
