A cute Highway 66 museum located in the historic Powerhouse and Visitors Center. A great place to pick up information on local hiking and biking and much more.

This is definitely the main reason to visit Kingman. If you only have time to visit one attraction, I suggest you stop at the Powerhouse Visitor Center which houses what I believe is one of the most comprehensive museums of Route 66. The museum is on the second floor of the building and inside it houses – in addition to the inevitable historical information – many period photos, murals, and scale models with life-size mannequins that are able to make visitors immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that time period. Cost to enter is only $4

They have an electric car museum that showcases a collection of electric cars from the early 1900's.

Opened May 2001 and operated by the Mohave Pioneers Historical Society, the Arizona Route 66 Museum is located in Kingman’s Historic Powerhouse and depicts the historical evolution of travel along the 35th parallel that became Route 66.

A great place to begin learning about Kingman and its growth since the wild west in the early 1900's. Not only is it a great place to learn about the history, but it has free brochures for restaurants, shopping, museums, site-seeing, etc.
