You probably heard of museum island, regardless if you're into museums or not, it's a nice place to discover nice sightseeing points. The best one in our opinion is the bridge at the Bode Museum where the Museum island "starts". Locals often meet there for a sundowner or to enjoy a more quiet moment in a very pretty surrounding.

Museum Island is a unique ensemble of five museums on Spree Island in the district of Mitte in Berlin. Museum complex including 5 world-renowned museums. The only architectural ensemble that is considered part of UNESCO world heritage. The outstanding exhibits include Nefertiti and the Pergamon frieze.
