If you love the outdoors head to the Cape Fear River trail for a great walk, jog or run. Even on hot days you’ll find some relief thanks to all the shade provided by the trees. The Fiver trail is accessible directly from the parking lot. If you walk toward the train tracks you’ll find your way to a few different trails, a playground, and a nature center that is home to a variety of reptiles and amphibians that you can visit. Just don’t forget to pack some water!
