Best place for drinks and apps in SLO County. Craft cocktails, unique mixes and tasty bites.
Lovely cocktail bar. Can get a bit loud and crowded at the weekend so i would suggest going earlier in the evening so you can get a seat at the bar. The food is delicious too - especially the hanger steak.
Head downtown SLO to a hip mellow atmosphere and discover unique craft cocktails. Start with scrumptious truffle popcorn served to every table and order their unbeatable Brussels sprouts.
Sidecar is another favorite for rich filling foods and very unique cocktails with some harder to find liquors and tinctures. Also great for brunch. They do not accept reservations.
“Another favorite spot. This wine bar has the best of central coast wines and beyond. Great gourmet pizza's too. The vibe and decor is awesome.”
“This spot is great as the whole place opens up to the street and the menu is full of crowd pleasers. Try the the Tot-chos, nachos made with tater tots! Libertine's own brews are sour, maybe an acquired taste but I really like the Casa de Newton made with pommelos from the owners backyard, it's grapefruity. The best local brews are also on tap if sour is not your thang. ”
“We think these are the best Sandwiches we have ever had. The deli is just a block away and if you go after 4:20 all sammy's are on sale. A must go to for your visit to SLO. ”
“A 1,546-feet-tall volcanic summit that formed more than 20 million years ago offering a great workout, not to mention stellar panoramic views. The out-and-back trek is approximately 3.5 miles round-trip and varies between grassy slopes and mixed forest before opening to reveal the other neighboring 'Nine Sisters' peaks, and SLO laid out before you. Dogs are allowed on the trail. Rock climbing & bouldering aplenty.”
“Great coffee shop. It has the added bonus of having a hidden cocktail bar in the back of the coffee shop. Cocktail bar is open on Thursdays and at the weekend. At $10 a drink its great value not to mention super tasty. Well worth a visit. ”
