Grocery or Supermarket
A little shop next to the great market hall, but if you need any special ingredient for cooking, you will find it here.
My favourite place to buy spices, fresh herbs, tea specialities and asian food. Guess you do not come to Hungary to eat asian food, but you can also find here jams, honey, balsamic vinegar, wine vinegar handmade in Hungary. It is alltogether a pretty exciting spice shop.
If you are looking for some flavours/foods from Asia...then this is the place to go. Although some items are kindly made in Britain ;-) and then exported all over the world. (the Brits have loved Asian flavoured food for decades)
Wide selection of exotic spices, tea, coffee, ingredients for international food
“Here you find the best and famos kremes from Budapest and other dreams of sweets, must go!”
“Mansfeld Péter Park is a nice little nook in District II of Budapest, up on Rózsadomb, pretty close to Gül Baba’s türbe. Named after the youngest martyr of the punishments following the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the park’s strongest point is its view. The sight of Chain Bridge, the Parliament and the Danube Promenade welcomes those who are willing to take the up-hill walk that leads to the park. Going there with a picnic basket, a child, or a pet is a great idea, just like paying a visit accompanied by a glass of wine and our significant other.”
