There are Free Guided Heritage Walks in the Mackay CBD/Riverfront. For two hours every Wednesday morning from May to September, your guides will show you several local landmarks and tell fascinating stories from throughout Mackay's history. Visit the Mackay Visitor Information Centre on Nebo Road for a copy of the Heritage Walk brochure and to enquire about times to join a guided tour. Guided tours are seasonal and subject to change.
