Prices are a little higher than at larger grocery stores but just about everything you need is available here.

This store carries all the basics you might need, including groceries, newspapers, paper products, giftware, firewood, ice, etc. Located 5 min from the cottage. The Lucky Dollar also sells Bingo cards so you can join in on the radio bingo game only found in cottage country! On Tuesdays 6pm, tune into CanoeFM for a fun family night! But game cards early as they sell out quickly. (At the time of adding to our guidebook, game cards are $6 each and are good for 3 games, with winnings of $100, $200, and $500!)

The Lucky Dollar sells pretty much everything! Only 8 mins from the cottage and owned by the same family for over two decades, it's part hardware store, part convenience store, part grocery store and it even has an ice cream counter.
