You feel welcome right when you walk in the door. The food on the menu is very reasonable, and exceptionally good! It is Mexican food, But with a gourmet twist. I had nachos with chicken and roasted vegetables. They were topped with mole’ sauce. The order is huge, so perfect for sharing! Of course I was eavesdropping on other groups, and seeing what they ordered. All of the dishes looked wonderful, and everyone was having a good time! Chips and salsa are served.

The Purple Rose has been a local fixture for decades. They serve Mexican food, and have a full bar with great margaritas. And it's walking distance from the Villa.
