Easy place but good- informal- traditional food

More e Machine is somewhat of an institution in La Morra. The restaurant is (probably) the only one in the region that is open all day, almost all year long. The selection of wines is amazing, as is the selection of cheeses. When in season, More e Machine serves the best ice cream in Langhe. Try the hazelnut! Closed: Pretty much never!

If you have a car I highly recommend you to go here. The food is insanely good. They do a lot of Piemontese dishes that are slightly jazzier than the traditional versions. Fantastic selection of wines. Get the pancia di maiale (pork belly) and the lingua! Most amazing Aperol Spritz, no idea how they do it. 20 minutes by car, it's on the way from Bra to Barolo (fabulous ride through the winescape, I think the road is UNESCO world heritage)
