Just a 4 ½ mile drive away, this beautiful nature park, situated along the Alcovy River in the southern portion of Newton County, contains over 450-acres. Go for an easy hike along the running water and even rock hop. You can even take an intertube and coast down the rapids when the water level is high. You can also take a pontoon straight to the shoals
