Mitchell Park in Cadillac: Archery and pellet gun ranges, a 2.5-mile Heritage Nature Trail leading through the woodland and Heritage Marsh, and snowshowing in the winter.

Historic canal connects the two lakes and runs directly through the park. Trails are groomed for cross-country skiing. The visitor center open year-round displays hunting & fishing exhibits. Metal detecting area.
