Enjoy a stroll through the forest. Go early and you may even see a lyrebird. Noisy visitors miss out on seeing the wildlife - walk quietly and be surprised at what you see and hear - maybe even a wallaby or an echidna or wombat in their natural environment.

There are 5 public gardens in the Dandenongs and thousands of acres of National Park. Perhaps a waterfall at Olinda or Sherbrooke? Hiking up the 1000 steps at Upper Ferntree Gully, visiting the Nicholas Gardens, National Rhododendron Gardens, Pirianda and George Tindale Gardens, or the maze and lookout at SkyHigh Mt Dandenong
