Lovely park, watch the ferries sail by on route to Nanaimo & the Gulf Islands. If you are lucky you might see a whale or seal 🦭 At low tide you can walk to this island. Need good shoes or sandals. Take a lunch & head over to the south side of this little island, park yourself on a rock & enjoy! Keep an eye on the tide so you don’t have to wade back to shore 🏝️

A lesser known small park with amazing views, rocks to climb and a sweet beach. Divers frequent the area. Jump boulders out to the large rock "island" but be sure to head back before the tide comes in or you may be stranded. This park is close to Horseshoe Bay where the ferries to Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and Bowen Island go in and out. There are several casual restaurants and a few shops in Horseshoe Bay.
