DARING MAN Rue de Flandre 37, 1000 Bruxelles +322 512 43 23 For a typical Brussels atmosphere, head to the Daring Man, in the “bruin bar” (brown bar) district close to place Sainte-Catherine. It barely fits 40 people, and that’s what makes it so nice. Next to a good selection of Trappist and out-of-the-ordinary beers (try a Gageleer), you’ll discover an artistic (not artsy) and healthily uncommercial attitude. Martine, the owner, is a quaint character of the Rue de Flandres.
