A modern brasserie with a Williamsburg look and feel, Brasserie Witlof has substantive charm. There are red leather banquettes and wooden bar stools, an exposed wood beam ceiling, and tall, pretty windows. The cuisine is Flemish, so whatever you decide to eat just know that you'll do well with an order of Belgian fries — which come with truffle aioli — on the side.
Great cocktails and vibe with good classic brasserie food! I suggest sitting at the bar for the best service
“Italian food and coal fired pizza. Legit good and nice ambiance. Guests and choose bar or table. Nice date place. ”
“You can do your own laundry here or drop it off and they will wash and fold it. Their prices are the best in the neighborhood.”
“Authentic NY bagels for everyday NYers. This is a great place to sample bagels for this first time and then come back. They're busy in the mornings. The only thing I don't like is that my clothes always smell like I was working in their kitchen, but it's a small price to pay. Recommended. ”
“The tramway on Roosevelt Island provides a stunning view on your way into Manhattan. Use your MTA card and for $2.75 you ride over the east river. It is a short, pleasant ride into Manhattan.”
