This is closest station, only one mile to my Midtown Palo Alto home. University ave station has more train stops, it's about 3 miles away.

The cal train can take you all the way up to San Francisco, with stops all along the peninsula. The station is a 10 minute walk away.

Caltrain runs every hour during the day, with more frequent trains in the morning and evening for commuters. Keep in mind that train service ends around midnight! Check the Caltrain website for more info
