It is one of the oldest restaurants in Milan and a must to understand what it means to eat in Milano. The atmosphere is nice: wooden tables and sideboards, white tablecloths, cream tiles, and brick walls invite warmth into every room. La Pesa offers traditional Milanese dishes, such as L'Oss Bus (veal ossobuco and yellow risotto); La Busecca (Milanese tripe with white beans); Il Salto (the classic yellow risotto stir-fried, a real treat). But above all there is the Cotoletta alla Milanese , served with roasted potatoes flavored with rosemary. Heaven !!
