Hudson, NY - 19 mins drive from the lake house. American contemporary. I love the food at Swoon. The classic tall ceilings and NY style inside make for a great dining experience.

Swoon is an upscale American bistro. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are spot on. We've had pasta here that rivals Italy.

Restaurant and Bar. Great mixed drinks, excellent wine list, interesting farm to table small plates or full dinners. Great atmosphere. Pricey.

CIA grads run this restaurant, and it’s some of the best food in the Hudson Valley. Always has good vegetarian choices on the menu, plus local produce and meats.
