This is in the Village of Barley in amongst the other pretty villages living beneath Pendle Hill. There is this traditional pub and there is the Barley Mow across the road too. This is the village where you can also take a walk around The Sculpture Trail Walk which takes about an hour. Barley is approximately 30 minutes drive from the cottage.

Set at the very base of Pendle Hill, just a 6 min drive from Tilly Cottage you will be welcomed by real fires, good staff and a great menu for all. Perfect stop off for those meandering the country roads round Pendle Hill, climbers of Pendle Hill, walkers taking in the views, and of course your canine best friends. A must if visiting Tilly Cottage

When you've finished climbing the hill you'll need a drink. This is everyone's favourite - just across from the parking and tourist centre, good food and dog-friendly.
