Sandy National Trust surfing beach with scenic cliff walk to Wheal Coates tin mine (cover photo). Nat Trust cafe in the carpark. West of St Agnes via Beacon Drive coast road. Beacon Drive car park is a wonderful place for storm watching seas.

National Trust Beach and cafe. Gorgeous beach when tide is out. 5 mins drive from St Agnes. (Half hour from home). Lovely walk on headland to see old tin mining village.

National Trust cove. Beautiful setting with excellent sandy beach particularly when the tide is out and you can explore the sea caves (with caution - the tide comes in fast!). Lovely cliff-top walks amongst the ruins of the tin mines (used for Poldark filming). Beach cafe offers an interesting selection of hot and cold food and try the ‘Hedgehog Ice Cream’ for a real treat.
