great hiking. get the feeling of being remote. can be busy, but never crowded. hiking from a "gentle walk" to intense. bring water, dress appropriately.

Beautiful hiking, climbing. Can't beat it for spring wildflowers. If you're feeling ambitious, the 11 mile one way ridgeline trail is one of the best hikes I've ever done. You'll need a car shuttle. Peralta trail to Weaver's needle is also nice.
