Located in the heart of Brussels, the Art et marges museum, an art brut museum, questions art and its borders. The museum's collection was put together in the mid-1980s by self-taught artists, artistic workshops for people with intellectual disabilities or in psychiatric settings. Today, it is made up of over 4,000 international works of art produced off the frequented paths of art. The temporary exhibitions, at the rate of three per year, bring together artists from both sides of the margin, questioning the boundaries of art and its definition.
