Great spot for breakfast. It's a pleasant 1 mile walk, with great views of Mt. Hood and the river, from the house straight south on Corbett. They have great coffee and delicious breakfast foods. I usually get the eggs and biscuit breakfast. Great spot to sit outside during nice weather.

They have great coffee and delicious breakfast foods. I usually get the eggs and biscuit breakfast. Great spot to sit outside during nice weather.

It's mainly a wine shop, which has quite a good selection, but they also serve pretty tasty little tapas style dishes. It's a good place to grab a glass of wine and have a snack before heading out for the night.

Growler guys is the typical Portland spot where they have 50+ beers on tap. Not a great ambiance but a great place to go sample a ton of local beers. You can grab a growler of whatever you liked and bring it home.

Best beer downtown in my opinion. Very nice rooftop terrace. Does get crowded on nice days. Yes, they were bought by Budweiser/Inbev but it's still pretty good beer.

This is a restaurant and bar. The restaurant is good but too expensive for the portion size. However, the late night happy hour menu is reasonable and has the best burger I have had in Portland. Go after 10pm get a cheaper beer and enjoy a delicious burger.

215 SE 9th AveThis is a restaurant and bar. The restaurant is good but too expensive for the portion size. However, the late night happy hour menu is reasonable and has the best burger I have had in Portland. Go after 10pm get a cheaper beer and enjoy a delicious burger.

Great rainforest trails about a 10 min walk from the house. I frequently go trail running up here. It's beautiful shady and the trails connect to the north and the south so you can make a full day semi-urban hike out of it if you like.
