Joshua McFadden is the chef and now owner of this stellar trattoria with Roman inspired eats. The motto is "Locally Sourced. Aggressively Seasonal," which means the best local produce and meats raised by Pacific Northwest farmers make their way into a menu of antipasti, giardini, hand-made (down to the house-milled flour) pasta, secondi, and contorni.
One of the best restaurants in Portland. Serve seasonal italian dishes with incredible apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. Also a great option if you want to indulge in a super high quality meal.
Wonderful restaurant on SE Division - might want to try and get a reservation for this one!
Great Italian by one of Portland's buzziest chefs (Joshua McFadden). A PDX essential. Reservations available via Resy. If you walk-in, prepare to wait about an hour- we like to wait with a cocktail at the Whiskey Soda Lounge just down the street.
The two best things on the menu are the burrata and any of their pasta’s. Better Italian food than Italy. They fill up weeks in advance, so you should make a reservation. They also started doing brunch...and it's incredible.
“one of the best local homemade ice creams around there are even vegan options as well”
“This is Indian quick bites or larger plates. They are legit spicy, so careful when asking for anything that is listed as HOT. Mango lassi is authentic and you can also purchase some Indian grocery items.”
“One of portland best restaurants. Great thai dishes and must try the fish sauce wings.”
“Delicious house-made pies, but the real star of the show is the chocolate ganache-filled brownie.”
