Kilburn Chicken Cottage

Greetings! I'm Faron, your host. Kilburn is ideally situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with local landmark the Kilburn White Horse within sight from the garden. There's the Mouseman Visitors centre only a matter of yards away which has a lovely cafe inside that's open to the general public and the pub The Forresters Arms right next door. The next village along the road in Oldstead, is home to TV chef Tommy Banks' restaurant The Black Swan. There's also plenty of fabulous routes ideal for biking, hiking and exploring with the Cleveland Way only being 2 miles away. The house comes with various amenities, fibre-optic high speed broadband, a Google Chromecast stick to stream Netflix etc to the TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, deep fat fryer, herbs, spices, pots & pans....oh yes and 10 hens. That's right, fresh eggs every day! Don't worry a full guide of what to do and not to do will be given if you've never looked after hens before. There's also a butcher's a short walk away so you'll never be without sausage, bacon and eggs. What's not to like? 🙂 We're dog friendly and the back garden is relatively secure as long as you don't have something tiny like a chihuahua that'll squeeze through my picket fence 🙂 Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. Boltby, Cosy North York Moors Snug with Log Burner

Barn Owl Snug is tucked away in the pretty village of Boltby in the North York Moors National Park. The perfect space to recharge and have a relaxing break. The snug is self-contained. Downstairs is the living, dining and full kitchen area with a log burner for those cosy evenings. Up a spiral staircase is a large, bright bedroom with king size bed and separate full family bathroom. Double doors open onto a private decked area. Washing machine / freezer / bike storage. Wi-Fi and parking.

The Owlets, Ampleforth

A luxury self-catering holiday cottage nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park in the pretty village of Ampleforth. The Owlets is a 19th century single storey stone outhouse that has been recently renovated to a high standard with brand new fixtures and fittings, as well as traditional features such as solid oak floors and beams. We are located just 1 mile from Ampleforth College, and 4 miles from Helmsley. All welcome, including children of all ages and well behaved pets!

The Nook - Hidden gem, secluded, peaceful, modern.

The Nook is a converted garage unit which is detached from our house with private entrance, outdoor seating area and key safe for entry. Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room.

Fabulous cottage in Coxwold, the perfect bolthole!

Braecote is a peaceful, warm, and welcoming cottage in the picture perfect village of Coxwold. With wide grass verges, honey coloured stone houses and a traditional country pub just up the road, Coxwold is one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire. York, Harrogate, Helmsley and Malton are close by, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and east coast all within easy reach. Newburgh Priory is just up the road and Michelin starred Black Swan at Oldstead a short drive away.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

Lovely views, log burner, oak floor, cute space.

On the edge of the North York Moors, Sutton Bank and a stones throw from Thirsk you’ll love cosy Saddleback Cottage with it's log burner, oak floors and sumptuous bedroom. It's great for couples and solo adventurers. You can walk, bike ride , ride and go gliding within 2 miles of the cottage. You can eat at the worlds best restaurant “The Black Swan” in Oldstead which is only 4 miles away or you could just look out the window at the hens, pigs and horses.

Two Bedroom Luxury Cosy Cottage With Parking

28B is a charming, cosy, newly-refurbished cottage hidden to the rear of number 28. It is a 5-minute walk to Thirsk’s cobbled market place with its many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and attractions such as the award-winning ‘World of James Herriot’ museum. The cottage boasts a stylishly decorated lounge, a well-appointed kitchen-diner and two bedrooms, both bedrooms have king size beds. There is an allocated parking space to the rear.

Rural homely cottage in North York Moors

Cosy cottage located in the North York Moors National Park with gorgeous big skies! A super base for exploring castles, abbeys, villages and the Heritage coast. Spoilt for choice in eateries from great local pubs to Michelin starred restaurants all with a 10 mile radius. Many guests comment on how peaceful and calm their stay has been. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families with children and pets (one, well behaved dog only).
