A lot of Goldsworthy sculptures are difficult to access. This is not. And there is a fabulous view of the surrounding area too. Best to wear flat shoes and the good news is that it is free to visit.

This stone circle is the largest on mainland Scotland & the 7th largest in Britain. Although called the twelve apostles, there are only eleven stones. The missing stone was removed in the 19th century, no one knows why. It is a popular gathering place to mark the summer & winter solstices. The location is easy to walk into though flat shoes are advisable - and it is free.
