(details below) Our shorter 9 hole course Our second course, a shorter 9 hole (par 3), is adjacent to our driving range. You do not have to be a member of another golf club, to use this course. Greenfees Our greenfees are in the 100-400 SEK ranch for a full days play. Clubhouse We also have a golf shop with golf carts, trolleys, clubs for hire and parking places with electricity for caravans. Exit 81 You will find us in Lagan village, 10 km north of Ljungby close to E4 in southern Sweden, exit 81. We hope to welcome you to our club.

Angelstads kyrka is a medieval church built during the latter part of the 12th century or around the year 1200 and still stands where it was then built, albeit extended and restored in various stages. The church is usually open every day 8-18. The original church did not really look like it does today. It has been added to the length on two occasions. First in the 17th century with the western coat of arms and in the beginning of the 19th century with the rounded cord. The foundation stones show that there used to be a straight wall at the pulpit's current location.

The beautiful stove contributes to the cozy atmosphere and welcomes you where it stands just inside the door. THE MILL

The mill The mill has a centuries-old history, and has been an important hub in the area. Most of the milling machinery is still intact. The oldest parts of the mill date from the 18th century. In the 17th century, there was five mills in the village, then in the form of smaller mills. Everyone must have flour, both animals and humans. They came a long way from here, by horse or ox. It was often a two-day trip for the time-consuming work of grinding this year's harvest of grain. Both the animals and the farmer were accommodated overnight. Today there are still two mills in Kärringe. Upper and lower mill. In 1918, the area was electrified from the mill's generator. The mill has been built in various rounds. The property also had a shop and a sawmill. Kärringe The name Kärringe probably derives from the now drained marsh (kärr), which today is drained and used as fertile arable land. However, an old legend says that the name comes from "An old ugly old woman(kärring) who lived behind a rock". Kärringe can today be said to be a typical Småland farm village, with arable land mainly for cattle and grain. A typical resident today is mainly employed in the nearby town of Ljungby (10km) with work or studies. Kåtån Having power from the water has always been important. In addition, water was an important means of communication. They followed the water. There were always fish there. Salmon, pike, pikeperch, perch, roach, bream, crayfish, eel, etc. In the past, eel fishing in the whole area was owned by Nydala monastery. The river that has supplied the mill with power is called Kåtån. Kåtån is a river that empties into Lake Kösen about 1km from the mill. Kösen is a smaller sister lake to lake Bolmen. From Bolmen via Kösen, Bolmån and Lagan the river reach the sea at Laholm. The name Kåtån means "Horny river" in swedish.It is not as strange as you think.
