Skiing & Snowboarding
The Pines is just 2.3 miles to River Run Village and 1.5 miles to Mountain House. Keystone has a good range of skiing for all levels and is the only resort for night skiing in Summit County.
River Run village is the main entertainment area. River Run has the Gondola, restaurants, and shopping. There is free parking in the main lot so it’s easy to get to the village and lifts.
Mountain House is the location of the Ski & Ride School. Mountain house is closer and may be a little faster to get onto the lifts.

Breckenridge is fun place to visit with good shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Breckenridge has a little more diverse terrain and is more about the apres ski experience. Parking can be a challenge in Breckenridge.

Vail is the largest ski area in Colorado and has terrain that can suit all levels. It is known for the Bavarian style town with high quality shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Vail is generally higher end so can be fairly expensive.

Copper is an easy mountain to navigate and has good skiing for advanced and beginner skiers. The beginner and advanced areas are on separated well so can be a good place for learning or doing some advanced terrain.
