Take a day trip to TJ! Have an excellent meal at Caesar’s ( where Caesar salade was originated). Take a stroll through the Mercado des Artesenias for some great shopping of local handicrafts. Head out to Tijuana beach or even Rosarito for dinner at the historic famous Rosarito Hotel if you need a dentist, this is the place... try “I luv my dentist”. For the best dental experience you’ve had. People fly in from all over the world for dental care here! State of the art.

Amarin Thai and Olympic Greek in Hillcrest. Both great! Old town- Casa De Reyes, Mexican food. Great patio dining. Harneys Sushi in Old Town is maybe the best sushi in San Diego. Bird Rock coffee roasters on Morena near Old Town good cup of brew. Rovino or Bencottos in Little Italy Mister A’s down town SD for rooftop dining with good drinks and steaks. Blue Water in Ocean Beach for the freshest seafood ever. International Restaurant Row off Washington Ave and I5. For a nice selection of foreign foods. Balboa International Market on Balboa St. for Persian cuisine. Many breweries
