The market is a little grungy & definitely smells like fish, but boy do they have great seafood. You can get a bushel of crabs for ridiculous prices, get 'em steamed with Old Bay. It's also BYOB.

Meridian Hill Park is arguably the best park in DC. If the temp is anywhere between 45 and 90, you'll find people playing sports, picnicking, walking dogs, etc. Go on Sundays for the drum circle!
