Union is a typical Slovenian gostilna, or rather Gorenjska gostilna, located a bit away from the Lake Bled waterfront but is well worth seeking out. Its primary claim to fame is meat in various forms, including a signature mixed grill offering. The service is pretty good and portions are generous. It is a very popular place to eat and is usually full of locals and their families, not just tourists
