Victoria Park, Bristol
Such a lovely green space for a walk or a run. At the top of a hill there are some awesome views of Bristol and Brunels world famous suspension bridge!
This is my favourite park in Bristol, near Windmill Hill. There's a little cafe at the top of the hill open on sunny days. Walk through on your way back from town and visit The Windmill pub BS3 4LU or The Victoria Park BS3 4QW for some great food
“This isn't really a zoo but there are loads of farmyard animals and allotment type spaces. Great new cafe, old cow sheds, outside BBQ, sand pit, little artist shop. Drop in life drawing class on a Friday 10.15am. Much loved place. If the cafe is a bit overrun by children pop along to The Toast Room on East Street. ”
“A vibrant contemporary exhibition venue that’s on the way to the foodie gems at Gaol Ferry Steps or walking along to the SS Great Britain.”
“Closest cafe at 2 minutes walk - good for coffees, brunch / lunch menu, bar. Also good for working with laptop. ”
“Greville Smyth Park is a great community park just 5 mins walk away (turn left onto North Street). It's known for beautiful mature trees and great views, and has a big children's play area. ”
