We have an amazing zoo here in Houston and if you are coming with family I recommend checking it out. There is also a little place to rent paddle boats for pretty cheap right outside the zoo.

Great Zoo one of the largest Zoos, we have been too. Plenty of outdoor walking so make sure to take cold water and/or a hat/sunscreen.

Huge Zoo with many animals such as gorillas, lions, giraffes, rhinos, bald eagles, elephants and more! They also have a small aquarium
