Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden
If you looking to relax, picnic (although there's a small cafe), and wander through beautiful gardens for free, Snug Harbor is a perfect place.
this is a really wild botanical garden with some deliciously weird buildings scattered about.
Snug Harbor is a lovely half day trip 10 minute bus ride from ferry. You will find a museum and botanical garden, statues, fountains, duck pond and rose garden. It is home to one of very few Chinese Scholars’ Garden too.
Beautiful to walk through. Gardens, small ponds, parks to run around in (kids), and Chinese garden.
