four-season beauty and a must-visit for nature lovers. It’s located in Washington Park near the Oregon Zoo and Rose Garden
As you ascend the path (or ride the shuttle) to the gates of the Portland Japanese Garden, you are transported into another world. Slowly, the clutter and hum of the day fall away as you walk amongst carefully tended moss and ferns and trees. Passing the gates, you can choose meandering pathways…
Enjoy Portland's gorgeous Japanese Gardens. Every season boasts something beautiful and different.
We can't get enough of this place. It's peaceful beyond imagination for being smack in the middle of a city.
Serene friendship garden with a tea house, and gift shop. Beautifully kept ground with walking paths, bridges, koi ponds, and amazing mountain view. One of my favorite places in Portland. Afterwards, there's a lovely rose garden a block away that is worth stopping to walk through.
“located downtown offers rotating exhibits and loads of special offerings. Check out their events calendar for more information”
“one of the best Chinese-style gardens in the Western Hemisphere. Located in Old Town, it’s a great respite right in the middle of the city. Take a docent-guided tour to learn the most”
“Possibly the most interesting bookstore you’ve ever visited. The world’s largest independent bookstore. New, used and rare selections. ”
“historic mansion built in the early 1900s by early Portland pioneers with breathtaking views of the city”
