Great Food and amazing ambiance in this small restaurant. Try and Oyster or two by the shell. On the higher price side.

Fresh oysters in central Virginia? Yes!! Until Public Fish and Oyster, you wouldn't think of Charlottesville as a place to slurp fresh oysters. PFO offers a dozen different oysters on the half shell each day, moules frites, fresh seafood. A good cocktail menu and wine list complement the food. Try the PFO pan roast!

Our favorite place to get the freshest oysters!! They also have delicious lobster rolls that are available only during their happy hour from 4-6pm. Reservations recommended
