Michaelhouse vs Hilton Rugby. A massive clash between two of the most Premier Boys' Private Schools in the Country. Shouting from the sides, war cries, chanting, choreographed displays spelling out the names of each respective school by opening their dark blazers and exposing white shirts underneath - each school trying to out-do the other. It's massive. It’s a competition within a competition.

Michaelhouse is a full boarding senior school for boys founded in 1896. It is located in the Balgowan valley in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal. The entire school is built in a lattice of quadrangles. It is in fact possible to move from one end of the school buildings to the other without ever having to get wet on a rainy day. It's also the location used for a well known South African movie: "Spud" which is based on the book about an old boys time at the school.
