Very trendy and funky place to visit for bars, restaurants and overall a fab vibe
Great place to try street food. offers a variety of delicious food. a very trendy area.
My recommendation to start a night out: Street food vendors, 3 bars and live DJs on weekends. Free to enter, casual and hip.
“The original East London marketplace with loads of retailers, restaurants, market stalls and food traders. Open 7 days a week, a great day out for all ages!”
“This is a great Sunday market but warning it does get busy as it is very popular amongst visitors and locals. Its great to see the traders working and selling their wares and getting in amongst the hustle and bustle. You can also pick up some great deals on house plants and flowers. If you want to avoid the crowds I would recommend getting there early. Around lunchtime the crowds pick up. Also very close to Shoreditch so can easily pop down to Brick Lane after to look around the market there. ”
“Really cosy little cinema to relax with a nice glass of wine while watching independent films. Community arts hub staging music, dance and spoken word performance, art shows and film screenings.”
“Wow - the best Indian food I've found in town and it doesn't cost a fortune! This is not your typical English Indian takeaway style food. It has more of a street style menu with the addition of being in really amazing restaurant interiors. You feel like you're in a colonial restaurant in India, its great! Side note- if you are less than 6 people you may have to queue at busy times but its so worth it and they bring you drinks while you wait! If you are more than 6, then you can book”
