The beach is great and plenty of beaches in the area to visit but if you love the idea of being in the sun and near the water but hate the thought of dragging all that sand back with you, then take a short drive to Dunedin and spend the day at Marker 8. Marker 8 is a hotel/timeshare/waterfront bar & restaurant. If you brought your boat you can arrive by boat and tie up just outside. Once you've arrived you can grab a chair poolside, lather up with your sunscreen and within minutes a server will be there to provide you with tropical drinks, snacks or provide a full menu when needed. On weekends there is always live entertainment and if you can make it to Sunset, you will experience one of the abolute best locations in the area to watch a beautiful Florida Sunset.

Good food, cold drinks, a free shot at Sunset! What more could you ask for. They also have a pool there that you can use, so bring your suit, suntan lotion and hang out and watch the sun set. On of out new favorite places.
