Small restaurant on an island in the middle of the meadows. The Island in the Pasture is a real island where two rivers (the Heicop and the Bijleveld) come together in the middle of the green heart of the Netherlands. Adventurous food for a reasonable price. Products on the menu are of sustainable origin: free range meat, non-endangered fish species and vegetarian dishes. Because the island is higher than the surrounding meadows, people look "in" the pasture, as it were. This gives a beautiful view. The terrace is located on the water on the side where the sun goes down, through which beautiful skies can be admired. Only open at Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun. www.heteilandinhetweiland.nl
