The best sandwich shop on the Central Coast! Sandwiches are huge and fresh, salads are amazing, doobie bars are a great dessert. High Street is popular, so prepare to wait a bit if you go during busy times. Patio is so nice to sit an enjoy the food. You can call ahead and order. We love to stop here after a hike up Cerro San Luis, Bishop's Peak or Johnson Ranch.

Built in 1927, High Street Market and Deli carried everything from milk, butter, chewing tobacco and fishing gear for the families working in the Railroad District. Now it is known for being a local favorite with sandwiches worth the wait. Yes, the HIGH ST sign gets stolen....often!
