Chalk Sound is a highly scenic natural lagoon. This national park features shallow & brilliant turquoise water with hundreds of small rocky islands. Chalk Sound is nearly landlocked, yet a winding channel does connect it to the ocean and Caicos Banks off the south of Providenciales. Because of it's protected status, powered watercraft use is prohibited. The main attraction for most visitors is sightseeing by road, or as a kayaking & paddle board destination. The water is clean & algae-free. The incredible turquoise hues are created by refraction of sunlight off the fine limestone and particles of the area.

This neighborhood is upscale and very quiet. It is the home to two lovely beaches called: Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay.

You must visit Chalk Sound on a sunny day to appreciate the turquoise glow that comes off the water here! Have lunch at Las Brisas and rent a kayak for a fun afternoon!
