It's not just a sushi restaurant—they take care to source their ingredients sustainably. And...yum!
Sushi, but not the typical kind you would expect (got served insects here once, so be warned). I enjoy their end of the night "happy hour" deals.
The Sushi is SO good and they use sustainably-sourced ingredients including invasive species. Lots of delicious sakes including a very spicy one! A bit pricey.
“Mediterranean restaurant downtown. Open until 3am every day of the year! Prices are incredibly inexpensive. Under $4 for a great falafel sandwich!”
“Rudy's was relocated and revamped after 75 years of being the best dive bar in town. The new location is cleaner, has better interior design, and an expanded menu, but the fact that it is no longer a dive bar is also a disappointment to many. I don't go here for the service, the food, or the cocktails. I come here for the decent-to-good beer selection, a baseball game on the TV (note, this is NOT a sports bar and the TVs are not invasive) and the company. So this bar may not be the bar for you, but I'm recommending it for those special bar flies out there that don't want anything too fancy and enjoy other bar flies. Don't go on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights when they have karaoke/DJs.”
“All things considered, this might be your favorite place to dance, eat, and drink in New Haven. The vibe is lit, the pizza is scrumptious, the beer selection is fantastic, and the prices are great. Looking to recreated that college night out magic for the reunion or just looking to dance the night away with some friends? BAR is the place to go!”
