A wonderful day out, walking just on the edge of the city. lovely stable cafe block.
Visit the mansion and fantastic estate. Great for walking, golf, mountain biking (a 6 mile mountain bike track crosses the estate). This hosts the famous Bristol balloon festival in August.

Ashton Court Estate contains mountain bike trails, golf course, miniature railway, hiking and accessable paths for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Onsite parking charges or walk across Clifton suspension bridge to access the top gate. A cafe at the Mansion serves hot drinks and snacks.

“Beautiful nature reserve to visit for a long walk amongst ancient trees and a labyrinth of walking trails. Leigh Woods is a great place for a picnic and they have a selection of bespoke picnic tables and a fabulous carved wooden sofa outside the rangers office. It is also home to grazing animals such as cows and deer so you might be able to spot a few animals too. ”
