Outdoor Event Space
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
A fun place to visit, take a tour or listen to music while you play corn hole or take a walk through the park or gardens. Eat indoor or outdoor on the patio with lots of local brews to choose from.
If you love craft beer then you have to visit Sierra Nevada. This place is hard to describe unless you just go. It’s like the Biltmore Estate of Breweries! Also there Tapas style food is delicious!
I call it Disney world for adults. If you like Beer and/or just good food, you have to check it out! they have Biking trails too!
We shook things up in the ’80s, and it helped launch a beer revolution that’s in full force today. We keep pushing boundaries, whether that’s in the brewhouse, with sustainability, or in the great outdoors. Full brewery, bar and restaurant.
I call it the Willy Wonka factory for beer. On the weekends there is almost always live music in their outdoor amphitheater, and the lower park on the river is open too! They also have an excellent restaurant. This one could have gone in our breweries section, but it's worth going even if you never…
Must visit, but you will need a little more time for this one. The grounds are spectacular, plus they have a restaurant.
“Built during America’s “Gilded Age," the Biltmore House and Gardens® remains America’s Largest Home ® to date. The 8,000-acre Asheville estate, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark, is open to the public and attracts more than 1 million vistors each year. While the grandeur of the 250-room chateau itself is enough to attract wondering tourists and regional history lovers, the full offerings of the estate are a big reason many Asheville travelers make the Biltmore® a part of their vacation plans. With botanical gardens, fine dining, scenic trails, a winery, a farm, music events, and more, the Biltmore ® fits as easily into plans for a family vacation as a romantic Asheville getaway.”
“Here's your chance to go to 3 beautiful waterfalls! Pack a lunch, bathing suit/towel, bring your dog and enjoy the day! Easy hiking!”
“Established in 1994, Highland Brewery is one of Asheville's oldest breweries and has been recognized for the part it played in bringing the craft beer movement to the area. They've got some great beers that you can try at their taproom or just visit any restaurant in Black Mountain or Asheville and they will likely have a Highland brew.”
“They didn't originate in Asheville, but we won't hold it against them. The Fort Collins, CO-based brewery makes some great beer (and a wide variety), and their setting is pretty amazing. The brewery and "Liquid Center" overlook the French Broad River. New Belgium Brewing also offers frequent beer tours.”
“Great atmosphere, dog and child friendly. Good food truck food. They make their own cider yet also serve lots of local beers and some wine as well. It’s a local favorite. ”
